Ellen Troyer, MT, MA

Co-founder, Chief Executive Officer / Chief Research Officer, and member of the Board of Directors, has over 30 years experience in medical science and professional education services. Ms. Troyer leads the company's science, education, marketing and business development activities, as well as product research and development. She was responsible for co-development of the first dry eye formulation in the nutraceutical arena. She has edited or written chapters in a number of health books, co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles, and has published over 400 weekly nutrition science / eye-disease-specific columns called Friday Pearls. Ms. Troyer is an active member of The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO), The Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society (TFOS), The International Society of Dacryology and Dry Eye, The Society for Free Radical Biology and Medicine, Ophthalmic Women Leaders, Women in Ophthalmology and The New York Academy of Science, (NYAS). She is a member of the Natural Products Association and a voting member of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the Washington DC-based trade association representing the dietary supplement industry, as well as an executive board member of the Ocular Nutrition Society. Spencer Thornton, MD

Co-founder, President, Chief Medical Officer and member of the Board of Directors, is an ophthalmologist with over 30 years experience in private practice in ophthalmology in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a past president of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and has served on the board of directors of the American College of Eye Surgeons, the International Society for Refractive Surgery, and the International Refractive Surgery Club. He was named Ophthalmologist of the Year by his peers and one of the "Best Ophthalmologists in America" by Ophthalmology Times. Dr. Thornton has authored, edited or written chapters in 28 textbooks on ophthalmology, and has published more than 250 Articles in ophthalmology journals. He is an internationally known speaker and is named in numerous Who's Who listings. Dr. Thornton is Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Tennessee, Memphis.
 
 

Joe Kirkland

Co-founder, Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and member of the Board of Directors, has over 25 years of sales and management experience in the ophthalmic marketplace and a strong background in ophthalmic nutraceutical sales and marketing. He manages and coordinates customer service and distribution. He also founded Kirkland and Associates, a major ophthalmic distribution company in South Carolina. He served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Surgidev Corporation, and was involved in the initial sales and marketing of the product that is now Bausch &Lomb's ICAPS. He was one of two national sales directors of ScienceBased Health.
 
 

Jack Williamson, JD, CFP

Secretary, Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer, and member of the Board of Directors, brings a strong background in finance to the company plus a law degree, as well. He is the chief executive officer of Williamson & Associates. Worth Magazine lists Mr Williamson as one of the top 100 financial advisors in the country.
 
 

David Amess

Director - Business Development and Planning, brings a Business Administration degree with an emphasis in marketing to the company. He has 18 years experience in management and business development positions in banking, finance, and real estate development, as well as marketing, sales and customer service management. He is a certified Wells Fargo Trainer, as well as Six Sigma Certified, with a focus on statistical methods for problem solving and business model projections.
 
 

Akos Feher, ME, MBA

Consultant for Strategic Planning - US and Europe. Akos has a strong background in strategic business development, marketing and product development in a wide range of industries including consumer electronics, toys, automotive, medical devices and nutraceuticals. Mr. Feher is the co-founder / general manager of Corvin Medical, Ltd. with a graduate degree from the University of Southern California (USC) Marshall School of Business. He is fluent in both Italian and Hungarian.
 
 

Sharee Parker

Customer Service / Special Projects Director (including International Regulatory), and In-service Training Manager. Graduate, University of South Carolina with BS in Biology. Graduate of NAPSR's pharmacology/pharmaceutical sales training program, member of the National Honor Society of Collegiate Scholars, member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and member of Ophthalmic Women Leaders (OWL).
 
 

Jennifer Pace

Customer Service - In-service Training Manager. Jennifer was one of the University of South Carolina grads selected for Who's Who Among Students, as well as a LIFE Honor Scholarship recipient. She is also a member of Ophthalmic Women Leaders.
